New Creation is dedicated to my Nana, who passed from a long struggle with Alzheimer's. Using layered acrylic sculpting, a landscape appears with clear blue skies, rolling hills and tall, proud trees. As with many who suffer from this disease, the wisdom and qualities that are embodied in our loved ones will slowly fall away over time. Eventually they can experience a world that is completely invented, a new creation from their mind that we often do not understand.
